Hello NS & PEI Camp folks,

One of our member camps, Camp Triumph in PEI is looking for a Camp Chef. Please share this post with your networks and help this phenomenal camp find the perfect match!!

Check out the job description below:

The Camp Chef is responsible for all on site planning and preparing of meals at camp (breakfast, lunch, dinner, three snacks) in fully equiped commercial kitchen. He/she is responsible for executing and tweaking the menu, ensuring all proper/safe food preparation and handling procedures are followed, ordering necessary food, ensuring the kitchen is cleaned after meals, and for the supervision and guidance of the other kitchen staff.

He/she will continually liaise with the Camp Directors to ensure that the meal offerings meet the needs of the campers and that the kitchen operations are running effectively.

He/she resides on site for the duration of the camp session (July 11 – Aug 26). Experience cooking for groups of 85 or more is required. Food safety handling certification is required. Competitive salary, room and board provided.

Salary range: $600-750/week for eight week contract
